The methanol concept works both on land and at sea

We also offer support and solutions for implementing emission-free energy production in areas where our products achieve their goals, such as on ships. Such projects may include energy production close to people, small and medium-sized decentralized power plant concepts, independent emission-free solutions and applications for islands, and applications where silence and invisibility are important elements, e.g., local security for critical functions.

We are sailors at heart, but zero emissions are extremely important to us.

We have developed products and working methods to meet the requirements of this concept, and they can also be transferred to land as they are. Using methanol as fuel is the best way to transport hydrogen safely through populated areas, and its environmental risks are low.

There are two options for implementing the concept

  • General solution, which uses methanol directly as fuel for combustion engines.
  • Silent solution, which converts methanol into electricity without an engine. This solution is suitable for environments where exhaust pipes are not desired or where energy production is to be located close to people, e.g. in ports.
